An English journalist visited Gaza on January 28, 2009, and found... well, not what the German media, in particular ARD, ZDF, etc., etc., wants us to believe.
Apparently, the Israelis did an excellent job during Operation Cast Lead, hitting Hamas and largely avoiding civilian casualties. Hamas won the PR war, though.
As to a correction in the German media...well, don't bet the farm on it.
What has happened with the German anti-tunnel experts that were ready to go to Egypt?
The offer is that this team will excavate tunnels without hurting anyone who might be inside.
Egypt hesitating? Why?

The problem in Gaza is that bigotry and statism are one. If these two were separated Gaza wouldn´t have that much of a problem.

I think bigotry is the system of the problem and statism is just result of it. We can understand this by looking at its history and its odd leaders. Sorry but just an opinion.
