Here is a list of outstanding German-language blogs for all of our German-language readers. The German-language blogosphere needs more readers and supporters. So please bookmark and check out as many of these sites as regularly as you can. Be sure to let as many other German-speakers as possible know about these blogs as well:

The most remarkable aspect of this is that two years ago, when Davids Medienkritik first went online, most of these blogs did not even exist! Let's keep the German-language blogosphere growing! It is badly needed.
Update: From now on, we will permanently list these German-language blogs in a blogroll labeled "GERMAN-LANGUAGE BLOGS" on our sidebar for the convenience and reference of our readers.

@ Trafo,
Thanks! There are so many great blogs out there, there are likely even more we still don't know about. If anyone knows a great German-language blog we are missing, please tell us!

Hi David, hi Ray,
thank you so much for the compliment! Very kind of you indeed. Karin

Hi,
this is also a very good website:

@Mario
Brushfires of Freedom is indeed a good blog but ... it is already in the list :-)
Posted by: Trafo | April 28, 2005 at 04:31 PM
Excellent, Ray. I'll better start brushing up my high-school German (short course). I tried Karin's blog and I'll think I manage (eventually).

I'll be glad when online translation tools become more sophisticated. Google's word-by-word translation of German websites into Googlish is mostly good for laughs.
Until then, I certainly appreciate all the fine folks here at Dave's!

"when online translation tools become more sophisticated."
This maybe never happens. Language is so complex and has so many exceptions, a tool able to cover all of them would require a person programming all possible cases. Maybe with artificial intelligence it is possible.

Ha-Ha. Reading Krienen is real torture. She schould be shipped to Den Haag.

I have lost the Editor's Office domain together with all the blog's content. My new attempt at blogging is hosted at http://editrixblog.blogspot.com. I've called it "Roncesvalles".

Thanks for the heads-up. I've deleted the old links and added a few new ones in an attempt to get things up to date.
