Some of our visitors complained about difficulties posting comments. I forwarded a commenter's complaint to Typepad. This is the response I got:
I was able to login without any problems. Do you know what browser your commenter is using?
If he's using Internet Explorer, he might need to make some changes to his privacy settings by following these steps:
1. Go to Tools > Internet Options, then select the Privacy tab.
2. In the Settings area of the tab, click Sites.
3. In the Address of website field, type typepad.com and click Allow.
4. Click OK at the bottom of that dialogue box.
5. Click OK on the Privacy tab. This change should now permit the sign in cookie to be set correctly.
Here's a recommendation by one visitor:
Try to hit the refresh button a couple of times when you don't get signed in. Worked for me.
Please let us know if the comment problems persist.
Good morning. I followed the instructions provided by typepad. I clicked on 'Sign In', which took me to the typekey login screen. I logged in, which returned me to this site. It still said 'Sign In'. So, I hit the 'refresh' button, and this comment box appeared. Let's see how it behaves in other threads, etc.
Thanks David & Ray
