This week's featured blog, Politically Incorrect, is a true winner for a number of reasons. First off, the blog's founder, Stefan Herre, started the site from scratch less than a year ago and has already built it into one of the most successful media-critical German language blogs in the world. Stefan combines superb writing with a sharp analysis of current affairs and media coverage. His many years as a media researcher add additional depth and perspective to his work not often found on other blogs. Above all, Politically Incorrect always seems to have the latest, most interesting stories.
We at Davids Medienkritik are particularly proud of the fact that Stefan points to us as his inspiration for founding his blog. We strongly recommend his site. While you are there, be sure to check out the excellent article on Prof. Wolffsohn he currently has running. German-speaking readers will also want to keep a close eye on Stefan's blog in the coming days for news on the critical elections in his native state of Nordrhein-Westfallen.

Wow, Herre's blog is really a breath of fresh air! Concerning the elections, I'm hoping he provides the much needed corrective to what's emanating from the popular media lately.
Speaking of good blogs concerning German media, whatever became of Amiland?

@Cousin Dave: My impression is that whoever wrote Amiland joined Nelson Ascher. I suppose Ascher could have written Amiland, but the writing style and focus of Europundits is so different from Amiland that it makes me doubt that this is the case.
