I haven't commented yet on the revelations concerning "Saddams Cash" for politicians and journalists worldwide - since no German political entities or media outlets are named in the lists available so far.
Still, it strikes me as odd that so much of western public opinion was apparently bought by Saddam, and so little of this is discussed in the German media.
Let's keep our eyes open for news on the topic...
So far I've only seen this news in the blog world and haven't even seen it mentioned in the mainstream European print or television media.

I think everyone is waiting. If it turns out to be true that the WMD issue was a myth perpetrated within the Iraqi government, then this may just be another myth. Iraqis could have created these documents and pocketed the money themselves.
Which would bring up another issue: So these people whored for Saddam for free? Suckers.

Let's connect the dots: You write "Still, it strikes me as odd that so much of western public opinion was apparently bought by Saddam, and so little of this is discussed in the German media." Two possibilities: either they were threatened not to (as many western journalists tell about arab regimes)...or, you said it yourself - maybe they were too on the list...
